About This Award
This award goes to a local authority, developer, contractor, planner, urban designer, or architect who has changed or created a public realm.
The space should make a significant improvement on the previous environment.
The award will recognise a place, or project, that demonstrates a planning-led approach in delivery.
** Entry details should relate to projects completed from 1st January 2023 - August 2024
Entry & Judging Criteria
- Sustainability. Demonstrate the embeddedness of sustainability in your entry, relative to the built environment and highlight any verifiable outcomes
- Plan-led. Show how a participative plan-led approach was utilised
- Well-being. Reflect and highlight the economic or social well-being delivered to the user community
- Placemaking. Show the placemaking and regeneration outcomes
- Value. Evidence the delivered value for the public and user community
